Led by a dream,
built by community

Ice on Mars was an idea hatched in early February of 2021. Hunter (in photo), having just started culinary school after ending a 10-year career in public health, was eager to test his chops as an entrepreneur. The challenge? Create a seasonal product that was delicious and accessible for people across Seattle.

To cover the initial start-up expenses, as well as acquire all the materials needed to create these frozen intergalactic confections he had conjured up, he created a WishList on Amazon with all of his supplies needed and asked his community of friends and family to help him out. And guess what? He got everything that day! Thousands of dollars in supplies, as well as cash for the initial expenses. This business was truly built by community and we will never lose sight of that.

Our popsicles are for everyone to enjoy together. We sell from a tricycle, known as The Starcruiser, in parks, streets, festivals, and more across the city, and we structure our menu to meet as many dietary restrictions as possible. We will always be vegan, seasonal and locally-sourced when possible, and forever out-of-this-world in flavor.
